Light Years Away had a remount in the spring of 2026 with the original cast, Nate Miles-McLean as the Moon, and Kaity Cherkassky as the Sun. Jessica Fisch and Teyanna Stone wrote some new music for this production. Payton Smith created new props/puppets.

The team went back into rehearsals to change the show into a new iteration of the story of "Light Years Away" with a stronger focus on the Sun's and Moon's relationship to each other as siblings. The result was even more interactive, and heartwarming than before!

The show performed at Smith Memorial Playground, The Please Touch Museum, Germantown Friends School, The Philadelphia Museum of Art, Independence Library, Lillian Marrero Library, Greenfield School, St. Mary's Nursery School, Trinity Playgroup, Jane Addams Place, and the HMS School, and Music Theatre Philly for 19 performances.

The show reached over 600 children over the course of the one month run!​
